What if the deep restoration you seek is waiting in nature—within the land, the seasons, and your own untamed wisdom?

Rooted is more than a retreat; it’s a homecoming. A sacred reconnect with yourself and the natural world, to remember that you are nature—woven into its rhythms, nourished by its wisdom, and restored through its presence.

Held in a circle of extraordinary women, you’ll be guided by a skilled yoga teacher, expert foragers and chefs and a shamanic practitioner. Together, they will lead you through wild foraging, grounding yoga, nourishing food, holistic healing and creative expression- an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and root deeply into yourself and the land.

If your heart longs for stillness, nourishment, and the kind of belonging that only nature can offer, Rooted is calling.

Where: Unstone, Derbyshire, S18 4AL

When: August 8th 4pm/5pm- August 11th 10am

What you can expect:

Over these few days, we’ll weave ourselves back into nature’s rhythms—walking the land, gathering wild plants, and learning their wisdom. We’ll sink into shamanic circles, exploring the unseen threads that connect us to nature. We’ll move our bodies through gentle yoga, finding space to soften and breathe. There will be time to craft with intention, to create with our hands, and to simply be. There will be pockets of stillness for reflection and rest, time to wander, to listen. And on our final day, we’ll come together in gratitude, foraging and preparing a wild food banquet—a feast of flavours, nourishment, and community.

🌿 Reconnect with yourself and the land through woodland foraging adventures with expert foragers. This is the perfect season to explore nature’s pantry, with hedgerows bursting with fruits and seeds…juicy blackberries, opulent elderberries, haws and wild greens like wood sorrel, mugwort and rosebay willowherb, the names evocative of ancient times but still so relevant today! We may even discover edible mushrooms in shady woodlands. We’ll wander through meadow, hedgerow  and woodland, learning to safely identify, harvest, and enjoy nature’s freshest, most nutritious offerings. Along the way, you’ll discover how foraging deepens your connection to the land, enhances your meals with wild flavors, and brings a sense of self-sufficiency and wonder. Whether you’re new to foraging or looking to expand your knowledge, this immersive experience will leave you inspired—and well-fed!

🧘 Restore through yoga and mindful movement, allowing your body to soften into deep rest. You'll explore somatic flow, yin yoga and yoga nidra.

🎨 Reawaken your creativity with mindful creativity sessions.

🥗 Nourish yourself with delicious, wild-inspired meals, infused with the flavours of nature.

🌿Join shamanic circles to connect to the wisdom of the land.
